About Us
Mission
Graceful Nesters Family Network is a non-profit organization focused on supporting diaspora families in the journey of building a thriving home in the diaspora. We do this by providing personalized coaching sessions, educational courses, prayer support, and practical parenting workshops to diaspora families and their circles of support.
We provide culturally sensitive guidance that bridges traditional values with modern parenting approaches, equipping parents and their circles of support with daily strategies and tools to raise confident, well-adjusted children. Through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, and community building, we support families and their circles of support in overcoming the unique challenges of parenting across cultures and geographical boundaries.
Vision
Graceful Nesters Family Network; Empowering families to thrive; fostering healthy relationships.
Our Founder
Olawumi Oyetuga is a distinguished woman of faith, dedicated to empowering and inspiring individuals through her multifaceted God-given graces. At her local Church she serves in various roles uplifting women, youths, and children through the ministry. Her teachings, grounded in faith and practical wisdom, resonate deeply, making her an exemplary leader and mentor.
Olawumi’s passion for nurturing extends into her role as an Early Childhood Educator and Pro Parenting Coach. She is committed to raising well-rounded children and advocates for intentional parenting. Her journey of living in the diaspora has given her profound insights into the unique challenges parents face in new cultural environments. Olawumi’s personal experiences enable her to provide tailored, effective guidance for parents navigating these complexities, making her a sought-after coach and mentor.
In 2018, she launched the Parenting Platform to educate and support the African community in Saskatchewan on the lifelong journey of parenting. The platform focused on bridging the gap between traditional upbringing and raising children in a new cultural and geographical context. Over the years, it has expanded to serve parents across the global diaspora. In 2025, the initiative was formally registered as a nonprofit organization under the name Graceful Nesters Family Network, and it continues to empower families to thrive wherever they are based.
Olawumi’s dedication to spreading messages of hope, faith, and practical parenting strategies extends to her work as an author. Her books, Christ in My Thoughts, Intentional Parenting: A Lifetime Journey, and The Blind Shall See are treasured resources for those seeking guidance and inspiration. Through her writings, she reaches a wider audience, sharing her wisdom and experiences.
